#BeyondBits :: Oyella Rose
We are so proud of 25 year-old Oyella Rose, one of the first eight beneficiaries that have graduated from our program!
Rose has developed a successful charcoal business in a street-side shop near her home. She buys bulk bags and sells them to customers in varying smaller quantities. The street she sells on is very busy and her business is doing very well.
Because her husband is currently unemployed, her charcoal business is supporting her entire family.
Rose has been an amazing leader, encourager, and hilarious entertainer at the 31 Bits Compound. Not only was Rose the life of the party at 31 Bits, she also led, encouraged, and mentored other women in 31 Bits. She has a way of pushing others forward and making sure no one is left behind. Rose says that love means “helping one another move from the bad to the good.”
A busy mother of four, Rose absolutely loves spending time with her four kids. Her youngest son, Ronnie, is constantly sneaking into the office for a “sweet.” Rose’s favorite day of the week is Sunday, when she attends church and then cooks a big meal for her family.
